Hello Friends of Bulgaria, During the ASEEES conference in Washington, DC, the Library of Congress is delighted to host a display of Bulgarian materials for the Bulgarian Studies Association and all others interested in Bulgaria. The display will be followed by a tour of the European Reading Room and other areas of the Library of Congress.

Come see the Kyriakodromion (1806) and the Fish Primer (1824) from LC’s Rare Book collection! Peruse our current Bulgarian newspaper and journal collections! Ogle a volume once belonging to Tsar Ferdinand I! And hear about the current and historical development of the Bulgarian collection. This will not be a formal lecture, but rather a curator’s talk highlighting the many items on display.

Date: Friday, November 18, 2016, 2-4 p.m.
Place: European Division Conference Room in the Library of Congress Jefferson Building, LJ249.
